This Privacy Policy explains how NEX SHIP LOGISTIC SERVICE FZCO ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data collected through https://www.nexshiplogistic.com (the "Website"). We process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 ("PDPL").
1. Who we are
NEX SHIP LOGISTIC SERVICE FZCO is a freight forwarding company registered in the Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA). Our registered office is at Office No. 4EB G32, Dubai Airport Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through the Website. You can contact us about this policy or your data at operations@nexshiplogistic.com.
2. What we collect
Through the contact and quote-request form. When you submit the form, we collect the information you provide:
- your full name and company name
- your email address and phone number
- the service you are enquiring about
- the content of your message, including any shipment details you choose to share
Through WhatsApp. If you contact our support team on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp number, your profile name, and the messages and files you send us.
Through cookies and similar technologies. We store your cookie choice in your browser so we don't ask again on every visit. If you accept non-essential cookies, analytics tools may collect information about how you use the Website, such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. See section 8.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (such as health or biometric data), and we ask that you don't include any in your messages.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

We do not use your data for marketing unrelated to your enquiry without your separate consent, and we do not sell or rent personal data.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and quote-request data for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a record of our business relationship. Where a shipment goes ahead, we keep related records for as long as required by applicable accounting, customs and commercial laws. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymise it.
Analytics data, where you have consented to it, is kept for the period set by the analytics provider's configuration and is used in aggregate form.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the Website and our business, and only as much as they need:
- Email delivery: form submissions are delivered to our inbox through Resend, our email delivery processor.
- Website hosting: the Website is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure.
- Data storage: form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase, so we keep a record of your enquiry.
- Messaging: WhatsApp messages are carried by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under its own privacy policy.
- Analytics providers: only if you accept non-essential cookies (see section 8).
Where a shipment goes ahead, we also share the details needed to move it with carriers, customs authorities, and other parties involved in that shipment. We may disclose data where required by law or by a competent authority.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers listed above, including our hosting, database and email delivery infrastructure, may process personal data on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we take the steps required by the PDPL to ensure it remains adequately protected, such as relying on contractual safeguards with those providers.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the PDPL, you have the right to:
- Access: ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correction: ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your data where we no longer need it or have no legal basis to keep it.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Objection: object to processing, including any processing for direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, email operations@nexshiplogistic.com with the subject line "Data request". We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.
8. Cookies and analytics
Essential storage. We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage. This is necessary to remember your decision and is not used to track you.
Non-essential cookies and analytics load only after you consent. When you first visit the Website, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. Until you select "Accept", no analytics or tracking scripts are loaded, and no analytics cookies are set. If you select "Reject", they are never loaded.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the Website footer. If you withdraw consent, analytics stop loading from your next page view. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to use the Website or submit the contact form.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
